When the Lord brought those who returned to Zion out of captivity, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with song; then it was said among the Gentiles, The Lord has done great things for them. Great things did the Lord for us, for which we are glad. Psalm 126:1,2

Many people have dreams that have not yet been fulfilled. These dreams embody their hopes, aspirations, and goals. They may even represent the things they feel called to do, but for whatever reason haven't been able to accomplish. Unfulfilled dreams are among the most frustating parts o four lives. They hunt us. Plague us. Perplex us.

Many people are like the Israelites who dreamed of a day when the Lord would bring back "the captive ones of Zion". They longed for this dream to be fulfilled, but it seemed impossible. They hoped for God's intervention, but it seemed like just a dream.

However, god performed a miracle. He "brought back the capitive ones of Zion." They no longer were just dreaming, but their mouths were "filled with laughter and [their] tongue with joyful shouting." People all around could see that God had "done great things for them." The Lord showed that He still could intervene in their lives and perform miracles. He could give them fulfillment, change their circunstances, and acconplish things that were humanly impossible.

He is the same God today! He's in the business of fulfilling the dreams of those who continue to serve Him and believe in Him.

God does not want you to give up or despair. Trust Him to fulfill your dreams-even the ones that seem impossible. Remember: All things are possible with Him!

God, I commit my plans, hopes, and dreams to You. Sift my heart, and free me from false desires and things that would distract me from Your purposes. I trust You to accomplish Your plans for my life. In Jesus' name. Amen.
